Introduction: Since the 21st century, research on foreign literature has become increasingly diverse. Examining literary works and cultural phenomena from different perspectives has become the mainstream of foreign literature studies. Consequently, the theoretical orientation of contemporary foreign literature research is a question worthy of consideration.
