Lecturer: Professor James S. Davidson

About the Lecturer: James S. Davidson is the Gottlieb Professor of Structural Engineering from the Department of Civil Engineering, Auburn University. He got his Ph. D degree in Structural Engineering at Auburn University in 1996. His research interests include Structural Dynamics, Structural Stability, Numerical Methods and Protective Structures. He has authored, co-authored and published two book chapters, approximately 30 full-length peer-reviewed technical journal articles, 35 conference proceedings papers, 40 technical reports, and presented and co-presented more than 70 papers at technical venues. He has served as associate editor, review director, and editorial board member on five technical journals.
