 Global

The Huangyaguan Great Wall is a special part of history, nestled in the mountains 28 kilometers north of Jizhou District, Tianjin.

On October 18 and 25, Tianjin University organized over 400 international students from more than 100 countries and regions to Huangyaguan Great Wall.

Huangyaguan Great Wall was first built way back in 556 AD and got a big makeover in the Ming dynasty by a hero named Qi Jiguang. It’s not just a wall; it’s a fortress with a lot ofstories.

By climbing the Great Wall and enjoying the autumn scenery, Tianjin University international students deeply appreciated the long history of Chinese civilization. This activity also promoted their enthusiasm for learning Chinese history.
