Tianjin University has issued its first undergraduate admission letter for 2024, signed by President Jin Donghan. This letter, numbered “0001,” is awarded to Zhou Zitan, a graduate from Zhenhai High School in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, who has been admitted to the university’s Mathematics and Applied Mathematics program.
“I am thrilled to be accepted by Tianjin University! This historic institution boasts a robust teaching and research capacity, so I confidently chose it during my application process,” Zhou expressed excitedly. With the issuance of the “0001” admission letter, Tianjin University will continue sending admission letters filled with blessings and hopes to new students nationwide.
Regarding her upcoming college life, Zhou shared her high expectations: “I want to further cultivate my independent thinking and delve into areas of personal interest. At Tianjin University, I hope to broaden my horizons and make new friends.” She also mentioned her enthusiasm for the university's numerous student organizations, looking forward to engaging in various activities that enrich the vibrant campus atmosphere.
The theme of this year’s undergraduate admission letter is “Originating from Peiyang, Dreams Blossom at Crabapple Flowers.” The design incorporates the spirit of renewal and the passing of dreams, showcasing the talents of Tianjin University through award-winning works. The foldable format resembles the unfolding of a historical scroll, revealing the university’s illustrious past on one side and the charm of its dual campuses on the other. Elements such as the Qiushi Pavilion, Peiyang Memorial Pavilion, and the blooming Crabapple flowers highlight the unique identity of Tianjin University. The letter features embossed silver lettering stating “Welcome to Tianjin University” alongside hand-drawn designs of the flowers and campus architecture.
Accompanying the admission letter are a set of character bookmarks, campus scenic bookmarks, a photo frame, a campus culture map, and each year’s new student bank card.
