Zhang Shuaipeng graduated with a master's degree this year. Wang Yaxin graduated as a Ph.D. student. Both are in the same research group. When they stand together, they always attract a lot of glances.
"Zhang Shuaipeng is a handsome, outgoing, and level-headed boy. He is very thoughtful and always considers a lot of small details that I can’t notice. At Tianjin University, he is my most beautiful meeting and is there for me all the time. He always comforts me when I'm feeling down, encourages and enlightens me when I feel like giving up. He is the best boy I have met.” Wang Yaxin said.
In Zhang Shuaipeng's eyes, Wang Yaxin is the best happiness he has gained at Tianjin University. "Wang Yaxin is a beautiful, generous, and positive girl who loves to laugh. She has a very beautiful smile. Her smile is very flowery and contagious, bringing a lot of joy to my life. She doesn't worry about trivial things, but she will give me advice and help on major issues. She is my Ms. right who I would like to live together for the rest of my life.”
They met at first time and know each other in the laboratory of the university. Both of them are in the same research group, and fate brought them together.
"We helped each other in the laboratory and have achieved satisfactory results. When facing problems, we enlightened each other and addressed them together. These experiences not only deepened our understandings of each other, but also made us cherish each other more.” Whenever he recalls the bits and pieces of them along the way at Tianjin University, Zhang Shuaipeng's face is always full of happiness.
They supported and encouraged each other in their study and research, and both won the top three in the Tianjin University Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy Analysis Competition.
During Zhang Shuaipeng’s research at Tianjin University, behind the success of his experiment are many challenges and setbacks.
In an experiment, Zhang Shuaipeng encountered great difficulties and was very depressed and confused. Noticing his troubles, his supervisor, Professor Chen Yulan, encouraged him to persevere. Professor Chen not only explained the difficulties in the experiment in detail for him, but also demonstrated the key operation steps himself. Under his guidance, Zhang Shuaipeng gradually found a way to solve the problem.
"Whenever I have a new idea or question, my supervisor, Professor Chen, listens carefully and gives me valuable advice. His support and help allowed me to gain valuable experience and growth in the experiment. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my mentors for their guidance.” Zhang Shuaipeng said.
He always remembers Professor Chen’s words: “Don't be afraid of failure. Failure is the way to success.” “This has always inspired me to keep trying, keep challenging myself, and make me more courageous to face the challenges of the future.” He added.

"I remember that day, in front of the piano, Wang Yaxin played a song Dream Wedding, which impressed me most." Zhang Shuaipeng said happily.
Wang Yaxin never forgets that Valentine's Day. On a Valentine's Day, Zhang Shuaipeng chose to meet her at Datong Student Activity Center of Tianjin University, where he prepared a carefully selected necklace for her. Whenever she mentions that romantic day, she always recalls that moment with a happy smile.
In addition to study and research, Zhang Shuaipeng and Wang Yaxin once participated in a volunteer service activity together. "Through that activity, we deeply appreciate the joy and meaning of helping others, and also cherish the existing living and learning conditions even more. This experience made us think a lot about responsibility, and also made us clearer about our goals and pursuits.” Zhang Shuaipeng said.
