However, transitioning from academia to entrepreneurship presented its own set of challenges. "Initially, our focus was scattered across various research avenues," recalled Professor Wang. "But upon entering the commercial realm, strategic alignment with market demands became imperative."
After thorough research and deliberation, Entar Energy strategically pivoted towards the industrial and commercial energy storage sector. Leveraging third-generation wide-bandgap semiconductor technology, the company positioned itself as a provider of high-performance energy storage and photovoltaic converter solutions.
"While the energy storage sector poses challenges, we are confident in our research and development capabilities," remarked Professor Wang, underlining Entar's commitment to driving original innovation in China's power electronics landscape.
Transitioning from pure research to product development demanded a paradigm shift. "The journey from academia to entrepreneurship necessitates a fundamental change in mindset," noted Professor Wang. "It requires a deep understanding of diverse market needs and relentless refinement of product design."
Entar Energy addressed the challenge of cost reduction by striking a balance between performance and affordability. Through strategic engineering and manufacturing processes, the company developed cost-effective solutions with reliable quality. "High-performance products often come at a premium, but with advancements in domestic semiconductor technology, profitability is achievable," asserted Professor Wang.
