On August 20, Ms. Lei Ming, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Tianjin University and Vice Chairman of Tianjin University Alumni Association, attended 2022 Symposium on Introducing Young Talent to Fujian Province and visited Fujian Alumni Association.

On the morning of August 20, Mr. Lin Baojin, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee and Secretary of the CPC Fuzhou Municipal Committee met with Ms. Lei. Both parties had in-depth discussions on cooperative education, talent training, and industry-university-research collaboration and other aspects.

Afterwards, Ms. Lei Ming attended 2022 Symposium on Introducing Young Talent to Fujian Province.

At the meeting, Ms. Xing Shanping, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee and Head of Organization Department in Fujian Province, hoped that young talents could strengthen their study, practice, professional ability and professionalism to serve the society. Young talents should strengthen self-cultivation and self-discipline, adhere to the reverence for virtue and goodness, and always maintain modesty. She also hoped young talents could dare to take responsibility, face with hardships and be dedicated, and have a wonderful life in the land of Fujian with efforts and wisdom.

Ms. Lei Ming hoped talents could put people first, and put professional ability into innovation and practice. She hoped talents could persist in lifelong learning, keep up with the needs of the times and enhance work ability.

At the meeting, Pan Lei, PhD graduate from Tianjin University, who is to be an associate professor at the College of Food Science at Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, shared his experiences about working in Fujian over the past year.
