In addition to daily lectures, Zhang Shuibo also led his team to carry out major research projects to serve domestic enterprises engaged in "Belt and Road" Initiative, covering investment and financing, operations, logistics, international engineering contracting and other aspects, based on cultivating "going global" high-end talents. "In the past two years, we have held training courses for dozens of enterprises and trained thousands of international engineering management talents. The 'Public Welfare Lecture' we founded has a far-reaching impact in the industry, and the targeted training of the interdisciplinary disciplines of global engineering management has become a 'fist' brand." Zhang Shuibo said that he is leading his team to do a key project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, "Risk Management and Control of Overseas Major Infrastructure Supply Chain Management", currently focusing on the research of international engineering logistics supply chain risk prevention. He is also responsible for the preparation and review of textbooks for training officials from developing countries, and serves society with his expertise as an arbitrator of international projects.

"Apart from the international engineering field, I usually pay more attention to some social hot issues." The "briefcase" prepared by Zhang Shuibo for this year's conference is full of essential and meaningful proposals. First,he pays attention to how to encourage fertility and promote social care in the context of the aging population. Second, in view of the safety management of high-rise residential elevators, he pays attention to how to strengthen the construction of relevant property management rules and regulations to ensure the safety of special equipment use. As a deputy to the 14th National People's Congress from Tianjin, his proposal also focused on how to make more use of the advantages of Tianjin Port, for playing an important role in serving the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and jointly building "the Belt and Road" Initiative.
