The event attracted 240 contestants and parents from nearly 100 countries worldwide.

Prior to the ceremony, faculty members from Tianjin University's School of International Education provided contestants and parents with a comprehensive introduction to the university's history, academic strengths, and distinctive programs. During the campus tour, participants visited key landmarks including the Ninth Teaching Building, Newton's Apple Tree, and the Peiyang Memorial Pavilion. Visitors were impressed by the university's rich cultural heritage at the Ninth Teaching Building, gathered for photos around Newton's Apple Tree to experience the institution's academic legacy, and viewed China's first university diploma at the Peiyang Memorial Pavilion, gaining deep appreciation for the university's historical significance.

The international student recruitment booth drew enthusiastic crowds, where contestants and parents watched the university's English promotional video and inquired about specific admission information for international students. This interaction enhanced their understanding of the university's international atmosphere and overall profile.

The announcement ceremony was later held in the Science Library's second-floor auditorium, where 15 young talents from five continents emerged as finalists, demonstrating exceptional Chinese language proficiency. These contestants will advance to the final round of the competition.
