Students Win National Top Prize in Social Practice and Science Contest on Energy Saving and Emission Reduction

From August 4 to 7, the final of the 17th National University Student Social Practice and Science Contest on Energy Saving and Emission Reduction was held. Tianjin University won 1 top prize, 6 first prizes, 3 second prizes, 4 third prizes and the Excellent Organization Award in this competition, ranking third nationally.

A total of 15 teams from Tianjin University participated in this event. Participating students came from more than 10 majors such as energy, machinery, mechanics, environment, chemical engineering, energy storage, computer, and electrical, and all 15 teams are interdisciplinary teams.

The event also announced the list of national outstanding graduation projects of undergraduates on energy and power. 2024 undergraduates from the School of Mechanical Engineering, including Xu Wenjuan, Pang Yujia, and Zhu Yibo were on the list.
