On May 22, the College of Management and Economics (CoME) held a seminar on promotion of undergraduate education and teaching review and evaluation, as well as undergraduate education and teaching.

The seminar was chaired by the head of CoME, Du Hui-bin, with the attendance of relevant leaders in undergraduate education and student affairs from the college. The seminar was organized by the vice dean in charge of undergraduate education, Zheng Chun-dong.

During the seminar, arrangements for the review and evaluation of undergraduate education and teaching in the college were first discussed.

Following the arrangement of the undergraduate education and teaching evaluation in the college, the attending teachers engaged in thorough discussions and exchanges regarding the specific requirements of the evaluation, the proposed management methods for the education and teaching nurturing and support plan to be introduced by the college, as well as the undergraduate program construction plan.

It is reported that the college has developed a detailed work plan for the undergraduate education and teaching review and evaluation, specifying the overall requirements, organizational structure, implementation mechanism, specific division of work and time frames for the evaluation work. It also delineated the responsible individuals and departments for each task to ensure the smooth completion of the review and evaluation. Currently, the college has initiated various related tasks for the review and evaluation, including the organization of institutional documents, self-examination of teaching materials, preliminary determination of inspection routes, and editing of presentation slides.

To consolidate excellent teaching and course resources, cultivate outstanding grassroots teaching organizations and teaching teams, and establish an organized teaching model, CoME plans to introduce management methods for the education and teaching nurturing and support plan. This initiative aims to conduct organizational work for professional construction and educational reform research from the top-level design of the college, ensuring the effectiveness of educational support and forming a long-term support mechanism for educational reform.
