Multifunctional exercise rehabilitation equipment developed for the elderly with reduced mobility of their lower limbs, sibling interactive games designed for families with multiple children, creative experience designed to promote Yangliuqing New Year Paintings, and small electric concept cars for future entertainment... These future design ideas of hundreds of unique industrial design works are showcased at Tianjin University’s 10th Annual Design Exhibition at the Zheng Dong Library on Peiyangyuan Campus.

Design is a highly interdisciplinary subject, covering knowledge and skills in multiple fields. Taking "X" as its theme, this Design Exhibition aims to encourage designers to bravely deconstruct unknown concepts and create unique and creative answers in the infinite changes of multi-faceted spaces. The Exhibition this year also invites Brunel Design School of Brunel University to participate.

At the exhibition, each of works contains a brave exploration of the future. The works just like a vivid picture scroll, showing the unique insights and profound thinking of these "future designers" on design.

"This year's Design Exhibition covers medical and health, transportation, cultural creativity, environmental art and other fields. It fully reflects the determination and actions of students to actively innovate and explore the future in the new era.” said Professor Xiang Zhongxia, head of the industrial design major at Tianjin University.
