Alumnus Li Xiangfeng’s Company Awarded Tianjin May Day Labor Award

On May 1, Tianjin Federation of Trade Unions awarded 55 exemplary organizations the May Day Labor Award in 2024. Tianjin Zhongji Construction Group Co., Ltd., a company owned by Li Xiangfeng, a senior executive with a Master of Business Administration degree from Tianjin University(TJU)in 2016, has been awarded this honor.

Li Xiangfeng, a senior management professional holding a Master's degree in Business Administration from TJU in 2016, serves as the Chairman of Tianjin Zhongji Construction Group Co., Ltd. Additionally, he was recognized as a Senior Professional Manager by the China Enterprise Federation in 2015 and received the Outstanding Entrepreneur award of Hedong District, Tianjin, in 2018.

Li Xiangfeng reflected on his time back on campus, noting that he had assignments to submit punctually, topics to delve into, and engaging discussions with his excellent classmates about life. During his two years of studying and living at Tianjin University, beyond the knowledge gained from textbooks, his most significant takeaway was internalizing the school motto of "seeking truth from facts." This motto left a lasting impression on him, reminding him to always remember his original intention, remain grounded in the present, and respond to situations with altruistic actions.

The May Day Labor Medal in Tianjin is aimed at vigorously promoting the spirit of model workers, the labor spirit, and the craftsmanship spirit.

Chairman Li Xiangfeng has been actively engaged in various leadership roles and initiatives within the business community of Hedong District, Tianjin. In December 2021, he was elected as a member of the 13th Executive Committee of the Hedong District Federation of Industry and Commerce (Chamber of Commerce), demonstrating his commitment to representing the interests of local businesses. In November 2022, Li Xiangfeng was further recognized for his leadership abilities when he was elected as the inaugural Executive Vice President of the Hedong District Youth Entrepreneurs Association in Tianjin, showcasing his dedication to fostering entrepreneurship and youth development in the region. Additionally, in 2022, he served as a special supervisor for special tax experience activities, highlighting his involvement in initiatives aimed at enhancing business practices and compliance.

Established in 2007 under his leadership, Tianjin Zhongji Construction Group Co., Ltd. has achieved national high-tech enterprise certification and has emerged as a prominent player in the construction industry. The company offers a comprehensive range of services including construction engineering, municipal public engineering, mechanical and electrical engineering, decoration, mechanical and electrical installation, fire protection facilities engineering, waterproofing, anti-corrosion and insulation, building curtain walls, steel structures, formwork and scaffolding, as well as electronics and intelligence.

Throughout its operations, Zhongji Group has garnered several accolades, including the May Day Labor Award in Hedong District and recognition as one of the Top 100 Integrity Demonstration Enterprises in Tianjin.
