From November 16 to November 20, Mr. Ma Mun Thoh, Executive Deputy Director of Technology Transfer and Innovation of the National University of Singapore, led a delegation to visit Tianjin University and Tianjin University-National University of Singapore Joint Institute in Fuzhou (the Joint Institute).

The delegation had discussions with leaders, faculty and students of the Joint Institute, and representatives from related departments of Fuzhou government and Fujian government.

On November 16, both parties worked together to answer questions related to joint intellectual property rights declaration, revenue distribution, and transformation of achievements for the teachers and students at the seminar held by the Joint Institute.

In the afternoon, invited by Fuzhou Institute, Mr. Chen Xianwen, Deputy Director of Industry Development Administration of Fuzhou New Area, introduced the entrepreneurship and innovation policies and the investment environment of the New Area. He stated that TJU and NUS are welcome to jointly build a platform for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements in Fuzhou New Area. Graduated students of the Joint Institute are welcome to start their business in Fuzhou New Area, who will actively create a good environment for them.

On November 20, the delegation visited Tianjin University. Both parties had an in-depth discussion on strengthen innovation and entrepreneurship cooperation and transformation of advanced scientific research results of both parties in Fujian.
