Chinese Modernization and Collaborative Innovation Seminar of Vocational Education, Higher Education and Continuing Education Held

On June 10, Chinese Modernization and Collaborative Innovation Seminar of Vocational Education, Higher Education and Continuing Education was held in Tianjin University.

The seminar included the opening ceremony, the invited report, the theme report, the round-table forum and the closing ceremony. More than 20 well-known experts and over 300 attendees from education administration departments, colleges and universities, vocational colleges, industry enterprises and media jointly discussed the logic and practical experience of collaborative innovation in vocational education, higher education and continuing education under the background of Chinese modernization.

Luo Yan 'an, Deputy Director of Tianjin Education Commission, pointed out in his speech that the coordination of the "three education" is an important starting point to deepen the reform of the modern vocational education system and an important pillar of the Chinese-style modernization. He said that Tianjin will continue to deepen the coordination of "three education" and promote the high-quality development of the three types of education.

Three experts gave keynote speeches. Lin Yu, deputy director of the Department of Vocational Education and Adult Education of the Ministry of Education, proposed to give play to the dynamic role of the two main bodies of the government and universities, and promote the deep integration of the "three education".

Zhang Li, secretary general of the National Education Advisory Committee and former director of the Education Development Research Center of the Ministry of Education, pointed out that the collaborative innovation of the "three education" should focus on the internal consistency and mutual support of the reform.

Xie Weihe, former vice president of Tsinghua University and deputy director of the University Council and senior professor of liberal arts, pointed out that the core of the coordination of the "three education" is to strengthen the connection and communication between the "three education" and eliminate the separation and conflict between them through system design.

During the seminar, experts discussed “industrial factors and practical paths of the collaborative innovation of ‘three education’”, and “triple logic and international practice in the collaborative innovation of ‘three education’". They hoped to promote the collaborative innovation of "three education" through structural optimization and the integration between industry and education.

After the keynote speeches, the initiative of "Collaborative Innovation and Development of Vocational Education, Higher Education and Continuing Education" was launched, aiming to form consensus across the country, achieve the collaborative innovation of the "three education" in practice, and achieve sustainable improvement.

Subsequently, the participating experts and representatives of teachers and students held a round-table forum, making a comprehensive exchange and discussion on issues, including the collaborative innovation and development of the "three education", the type orientation of vocational education, the main body and path of vocational undergraduate education, from the aspects of theoretical research, policy sorting, case sharing, and international comparison. It is of great significance to promote the high-quality development of the education system and the construction of a learning society.
