Red Dot Design Award Junior Award - Brands & Communication Design - Digital Solution is an interdisciplinary design product category with very few winning entries over the years. The winning project is Universal Color - Web-Based Signage Design System for the Visually Impaired.

About 90 percent of the information that humans obtain from the outside world comes from vision. The visually impaired community is growing due to the effects of aging and disease, but its design needs have not been given enough attention.

Universal color -- "Digital icon color intelligent design aid Method", built on the WED application tool using HBuilder language, serves as an intelligent icon color design aid tool. As a web-based design analysis tool, it provides a reference basis for decision-making and analysis of the scientific configuration of logo design colour, and helps designers to complete the whole process of icon colour design and program optimization in a more efficient and scientific way, so as to obtain more objective and reasonable design solutions; even for engineers who are not good at icon design, they can also quickly obtain accurate, beautiful and more universal icon colour Colour Matching.

Universal colour has already been used in dozens of projects such as the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and Beijing Yuqiao Nanli.
