Roles you can choose in TIMA
There are three departments in TIMA, including Translation and Edition Department, News Collection and Edition Department, and Graphic and Video Edition Department. Now News Collection and Edition Department, and Graphic and Video Edition Department are accepting new members. All Chinese students and international students are welcome.
I News Collection and Edition Department
1. News reporter
Plenty of opportunities to capture on-site news, uncover distinctive stories, and craft in-depth reports at Tianjin University.
Requirements
(1) Proficient English
(2) Ability to write concise news stories related to Tianjin University
(3) Commitment to the job, flexibility, quick response, and attention to detail
Responsibilities
Writing press releases and taking photos for major events on campus.
2. Social media content production
Deeper understanding of social media platform management and TJU’s global communication pattern
Requirements
(1) Familiar with social media, prudence, and punctuality
(2) Good English writing skills

II Graphic and Video Edition Department
1. Video producer/vlogger
An official platform to conceive, film, edit, and even appear in innovative videos.
Requirements
(1) Proficiency in video producing
(2) Creative, flexible, and reliable

(1) Producing short videos for TJU’s official website and social media platforms
(2) Participation in various series of TJU videos producing team.
2. Photographer
An open space to showcase your photography portfolio, fostering vibrant discussions and honing your photographic prowess

Responsibilities
(1) Shoot photos of different styles that are suitable for various platforms
(2) Participation in creative photography
3. Creative designer
A platform to translate imaginative ideas into visual masterpieces, employing artistic styles that resonate with you.
Requirements
(1) Proficiency in design software
(2) Creative, flexible, and reliable
Responsibilities
(1) Visual design for different project demands
(2) Responsible for branding and promotional materials including images, brochures, newsletters, posts, etc.
