To meet the needs from a typical chemical enterprise, on April 3, 2023, the School of Chemical Engineering and Technology of Tianjin University launched an advanced training program for Henan Xinlianxin Chemical Industrial Group (limited). On the same day, a meeting was held to further strength the collaborations between the two parties.

On the Opening Ceremony of the Young Talents Advanced Training Program, Zhao Jinduo, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Chemical Engineering and Technology expressed his gratitude for the trust and reliance from the company and fully introduced the spirits and connotations of “revitalizing and powering the country in science and technology”, and encouraged program members to enhance skills from learning. Fan Xiaobin, Deputy Dean, also made a general introduction of the School, including its history, education and teaching as well as research achievements. Next, Gu Zhaohui illustrated his expectations for all, hoping them to take the advantage of the program to improve capabilities. In addition, Cui Kaidi, a representative of program members gave a speech to demonstrate his willingness and expectations for the program.

The first course of the program is Interfacial Chemistry,taught by Professor Zhou Xueqin from the Department of Fine Chemical Engineering of the School. After that, all members visited the School's Experimental Center and Instrument Analysis and Testing Center.

The School attaches much importance to the cooperation between industries and universities to advance technologies and applications. Such Advanced Training Program demonstrates the initiative the School of Chemical Engineering and Technology takes to serve economy and industry development and to make a higher level of achievements.
