To celebrate the holiday with the female teachers in the College of Management and Economics (CoME), the third Women Teachers' Salon activity with three special topic exchanges related to work and life was held, focusing onthe theme of "Displaying the Charm of Women and Writing a New Chapter in Education".

On March 8, International Women's Day, the Human Resources Office of CoME organized the third Women Teachers' Salon activity underthe theme of "Displaying the Charm of Women and Writing a New Chapter in Education". In a festive and joyful atmosphere, female teachers from various departments gathered together to actively exchange ideas and talk about growth. The activity was hosted by Yuan Ting, the Deputy Party Secretary of CoME.

Yuan Ting introduced the four new female teachers who joined CoME in 2022, Yao Ye, Zhang Xiyang, Luo Qing, and Pan Shihe, to the teachers on site, who expressed a warm welcome for the new teachers to integrate into the big family of CoME.

Zhang Xiyang brought a theme sharing on"work health and emotional regulation"to teachers. She comprehensively analyzed the sources of work stress, the stress process model and the stress-coping skills. She mentioned, "Various occupational pressures are always present for teachers, and it is recommended that everyone concentrate their willpower on work rather than meaningless internal friction in life, thereby achieving effective self-control." She pointed out from the perspective of control theory, "Emotions come from the pursuit of goals, and it is necessary to regulate them through two emotional methods - accepting emotions and positively reevaluating them."

In Liu Junying's sharing titled"Professional Culture Inheritance and Innovation Under the Strategic Management Perspective: Taking Tianjin University Engineering Management as an Example", she mentioned that as one of the first national-level first-class undergraduate majors and national-level specialty majors in universities, the engineering management major has accumulated certain development experience in long-term development and exploration. She talked about professional training objectives, faculty team, curriculum development, textbook achievements, case research and development, industry standard setting, industry-university-research platform, and professional culture inheritance, while analyzing in detail the three major innovative characteristics of the major, namely "Investment and financing direction, resonating with the times", "International engineering direction, cultivating international leading talents" and "the Five-in-One tutor-led education system guided by ideological and political education".

Du Huibin mainly shared her experiences and insights in applying for theNational Key Research and Development Program. She elaborated on the application process and requirements, key points for the defense Presentation, as well as her understanding and insights during project execution. She encouraged everyone to integrate the concept of "Starting with the end in mind" into every aspect of the application and project execution, to be proactive, courageous, fully committed to excellence based on the major strategic needs of the country.

During the communication session, Fu Liping shared three insights: first,do not fear timeand she hoped that female teachers can fully enjoy life; second,be independentand strive to become a positive and successful woman in this new era; third,have a bright heart, love yourself, care for society, and protect family.

Du Huibin, the Dean, concluded that the CoME has held three in-depth teaching and research seminars for teachers continuously. She hoped that these activities can broaden their horizons and looked forward to more female teachers participating actively. Finally, Du Huibin wished all female teachers a happy holiday and to be the most beautiful versions of themselves.

With soft shoulders carrying heavy responsibilities, women bloom with youth and vitality.
