On April 2, the Operations and Supply Chain Management Department of the College of Management and Economics (CoME), Tianjin University held the first Logistics Engineering Alumni Forum with the theme of "Smart Connection, Co-creation and Sharing".
Attendees included Mao Zhaofang, Party Secretary of the College of Management and Economics (CoME), Tianjin University, Yuan Ting, Deputy Party Secretary, Huo BaoFeng, former Dean of CoME, Zhao Daozhi, former Director of the Operations and Supply Chain Management Department, Liu Weihua, Director of the Operations and Supply Chain Management Department, Li Bo, Secretary of Party Branch of the Department, Li Wenqiang, Director of the Alumni Office, Li Yan, Director of Party Affairs Office, and teachers and students of the Department. Alumni of 2004 Gu Yi, 2007 Wang Lu, and 2009 Qiu Zhipeng gave keynote speeches respectively. The forum was hosted by Li Yan.
The forum began with an online speech by Mao Zhaofang, who sincerely welcomed alumni back to Tianjin University during the blooming season of crabapple flowers. He pointed out that alumni are the valuable assets to the University and the College, and the University and the College are highly concerned about and continuously serve the development and progress of alumni. At the same time, he hoped that alumni could strengthen their relationship with the University and the College, promote communication and cooperation, and make efforts and contributions to the national strategy, social economy and industrial progress, as well as the development of the University, College and disciplines.
Li Bo welcomed alumni home via video, and expressed her hope that this forum could bring together the wisdom of the alumni and discuss the future development.
Li Wenqiang introduced the alumni work. He pointed out that "Connection, Empowerment, Co-creation, and Achievement" are the consistent "CECA work system" of the Alumni Office. The Alumni Office attach much importance to the communication between alumni and the University. The "Alumni Home of CoME" WeChat public account regularly send alumni work briefings, birthday greeting cards, and congratulatory cards and letters to alumni. A lifelong learning and lifelong service system is established to integrate various resources inside and outside the College, jointly promote alumni work, and help the development of the College.
Gu Yi gave a keynote speech: “Several waves of dividends in the Internet era and related thoughts on management and economics”
She once served as the manager of the East China and North China regions of a certain group company and now is an entrepreneur in the field of the Internet with her own company.
The speech mainly focused on the development stages of the Internet, the representatives of each stage and the waves of dividends they brought. She also put forward her thoughts on the field of management and economics and her expectations and hopes for her younger schoolmates.
Wang Lu gave a speech “Introduction to China’s pension market and discussion of hot issues.”
She currently serves as the Senior Director of the Annuity Business Department of a pension insurance limited liability company.
From the current situation of China's aging population to the status and problems of China's pension system, and finally to the promising trend of individual pension, she comprehensively introduced the past, present, and future development trends of China's pension system.
Qiu Zhipeng gave a speech “Exploration and Reflection on the Construction of Digitization of Logistics Network Planning.”
Qiu Zhipeng is Director of JD Logistics, in charge of the digitization of the network planning department. Currently he serves as a member of the JD Logistics Planning Channel Committee and an annual value expert in 2022.
Through the exploration of the logistics industry, he introduced the development trend of the industry. Secondly, based on network planning capabilities, he detailed the connotation of digitization of network planning. Finally, he combined practical cases to introduce the landing situation of the application of digitization of network planning.
Subsequently, the teachers and alumni present at the conference participated in a roundtable forum on "Creating and Sharing Together", which was hosted by Liu Weihua. The alumni expressed that they gained a lot from participating in this event and hoped to have more opportunities to come back home, strengthen their connection with their alma mater, and contribute to the development of the University. Liu Weihua pointed out that he hopes alumni will pay more attention to the development of CoME, provide more suggestions, work together, and make progress together.
Zhao Daozhi and Huo Baofeng sent their warm wishes to the alumni and students. Zhao Daozhi expressed his pride in seeing the alumni shine in various fields and hoped that they would prosper in their careers and make more contributions to the country. For students, he hoped they would cherish their time, learn from their predecessors, lay a good foundation, and be able to adapt to changes. Huo Baofeng pointed out that he hoped everyone can cultivate good personality, be down-to-earth, work together, and grow together.
