Recently, Han Bing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Director and General Manager of China XD Group, led a team to Tianjin University (TJU). Hu Wenping, Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee and Executive Vice President of TJU, met with the guests at Weijin Road Campus. Two sides held friendly exchanges at the forum.

Hu Wenping welcomed the arrival of the delegation and introduced the history of TJU and its recent development. In his view, Tianjin University has been promoting energy management. In order to achieve this goal, the school has revised and implemented the energy management code, set higher requirements for environmental protection work, further improved its energy conservation capacity, and strengthened its daily supervision and appraisal. He hoped that both China XD Group and Tianjin University would make full use of their respective advantages in project exchanges and cooperation to improve social and economic benefits and achieve win-win development.

Han Bing introduced the development of China XD Group. He said that the experience of TJU in deepening reform and innovating institutional mechanisms in recent years is worth learning, and there is a wide scope for cooperation. It is hoped that the two sides will maintain regular contact, exploit their respective strengths and realize deeper cooperation in more fields.

At the symposium, Lu Baoshun introduced the energy-saving work of Tianjin University. Zhang Hua, Deputy General Manager of the Comprehensive Energy Department of China XD Group, introduced the energy plan of Tianjin University to build an intelligent carbon-free campus. The two sides also discussed the launch of a comprehensive energy project at Tianjin University and reached a consensus on further strengthening energy management in universities and promoting high-quality development in the surrounding regions.

Both sides agreed to cooperate with broader horizons, and give full play to their advantages under the premise of cost reduction and efficiency increase, thus establishing a long-term cooperation mechanism, and setting up a new model of energy management in universities.

The forum has strengthened the exchange and cooperation between China XD Group and Tianjin University and provided new ideas and directions for the new energy installation and low-carbon development of Tianjin University.
