On March 23, a delegation of the U.S. Embassy in Beijing, China led by Foreign Service Officers Mr. Travis Glynn and Mr. Todd Hannah visited APEC Sustainable Energy Center (APSEC). Wei Youxiang, Deputy Director of the Office of International Cooperation of Tianjin University, and Professor Zhu Li, President of APSEC, attended the meeting.

During the meeting, President Zhu Li gave an overview of APSEC, including the working mechanism, organizational structure and major achievements, as well as APSEC’s current focus and the key areas of APEC energy cooperation. Mr. Travis Glynn highly appreciated the contribution of APSEC as a research entity in the field of APEC energy and expressed expectations for the cooperation between the two parties.
