The 2023 Crabapple Blossom Festival will kick off on April 2, 2023 on both Weijin Road Campus and Peiyangyuan Campus at Tianjin University. Crabapple trees on both campuses will clothe themselves in massive billows of bright blooms, filling the air with their welcome fragrance.

The Festival will be celebrated with various fun, activities and cultural events billed as Tianjin University’s best celebration of spring. Events and activities will include fun and sports activities, exhibitions, artistic and cultural performances, and open days of venues including Tianjin University History Museum, Feng Jicai Research Institute of Literature and Art, key laboratories, and science centers.

Crabapple trees bloom, on average, for 8 – 10 days. The blossoms are predicted to hit peak bloom sometime between March 28 to early April on Weijin Road Campus, and one week late on Peiyangyuan Campus.
