During the National Day holiday, colorful activities were held to celebrate Chinese National Day as well as Tianjin University’s 127th Anniversary.
Since October 1, the School of Chemical Engineering and Technology has carried out a series of activities themed “Celebrations in Golden Autumn”. Students are encouraged to get off the Internet and go outside to participate in various cultural and sports activities such as theme movie watching, sports events, and cultural performances, among others.
In the comprehensive area of the School of Chemical Engineering and Technology, a range of sign-in activities themed “Having Fun” have been launched, including skipping newspaper-made ropes, three-legged race, the game of “you draw and I guess”, creative paper-cutting, playing ping pong, and calligraphy solitaire.
In student’s living area, fun chess and cards games were going on. Students in different classes and groups have organized chess and cards competitions, making the cultural and entertainment campus life more wonderful and enhancing teamwork between classes, research groups and teams.
The painting and calligraphy exhibition were held in the public area of the student labs. It demonstrates the art orientation of creating and coloring for the times put forward by the students and teachers, promoting the excellent traditional Chinese culture and art and unfolding the striving and pioneering spirits of all faculty and students.
University leaders including Secretary of the Party Committee of Tianjin University Yang Xianjin, and Vice President of Tianjin University Gong Jinlong, among others, joined in these activities, celebrating the National Day as well as welcoming the University’s 127thAnniversary together with all teachers and students.
