Tianjin University Student Wins TEAM20 First Place Award

The online Award Ceremony of the 10th TEAM20 Architecture and Planning Graduation Projects Competition was held on August 31. After two rounds of evaluation by 30 judges, the project of Ren Yinghui (instructor: Zou Ying and Xin Shanchao) from the School of Architecture at Tianjin University stood out from many projects at home and abroad, and won the first award of the architecture design.

The jury agreed that by putting the traditional market into the modern city in the project, Ren Yinghui was able to bring the hustle and bustle of the city back to life. The overall project has clear logic and shows a solid and comprehensive design ability.

The 10th TEAM20 Architecture and Planning Graduation Projects Competition, with the theme of "inheritance and transformation", was jointly held by the Cross Strait Urban and Rural Planning and Industry Federation, the Urban Planning Institute, the Urban and Rural Business Department of Huasheng Group, Huangyan Innovation Co., Ltd. and other organizations. Since its establishment in 2013, TEAM20 Architecture and Planning Graduation Projects Competition has accumulated nearly 1000 outstanding graduation projects from various schools, and has become an important platform and brand project for the architectural circles across the Straits to learn from each other.

Since 2018, the School of Architecture of Tianjin University has won four consecutive championships in this competition.
