Journal of Management Science and Engineering (JMSE), undertaken by the College of Management and Economics, is included in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) database.
Previously, the journal has been listed in FMS and indexed by CSCD, DOAJ, Scopus and other important databases at home and abroad. This inclusion means that JMSE's authority and international influence have been enhanced again, and it has made a big step forward on the road to becoming an international academic journal.
JMSE was founded in December 2016. It is sponsored by The Department of Management, National Natural Science Foundation of China, co-sponsored by Science Press and Tianjin University and undertaken by the College of Management and Economics, Tianjin University. It is a comprehensive international journal of management science with independent intellectual property rights of China. The chief editor is Academician Ding Lieyun, director of the Department of Management, National Natural Science Foundation of China. The editorial board includes former field chief editors and associate editors of top academic journals in management science, such as Management Science and Operations Research. The field chief editors of the journal come from well-known universities of the United States, Germany, Switzerland, Singapore, and China.
The papers published by JMSE have been displayed in full on the ScienceDirect platform. JMSE has been listed as an essential A-class journal by the Management Science Department of The National Natural Science Foundation of China, which serves as a vital reference standard for the application and follow-up evaluation of the fund projects. JMSE was named one of the "Most influential Academic journals in China (humanities and social sciences)" by CNKI at the end of 2021.
