Tianjin University (TJU) offered free photoshoot service for graduates during the graduation season.
With frequent clicks of the cameras, numerous youthful vibrant smiles became the most beautiful scenery on campus, leaving amazing memories for graduates.
The landmark buildings on both Weijin Road Campus and Peiyangyuan Campus of TJU including Qiushi Pavilion, Peiyang Square, Zheng Dong Library, among others, became the graduates’ preferred locations to take pictures.
Holding the camera carefully, the photographers patiently adjusted every detail after communicating with students, only to meet their needs perfectly. Dressed in various styles of clothes encompassing academic costumes, pleated skirts, white shirts, and cheongsams, graduates posed uniquely and fixed their love for alma mater forever with cheerful laughter.
According to Kong Tao, a staff from the Office of Student Affairs, “We have arranged for student shutterbugs in eight landmark places on bothWeijin Road Campus and Peiyangyuan Campus, combined with props like bouquets, balloons, bubble machines, windmill toys, KT boards, andacademic costumes. Graduates will receive the free service solely through reservations, and the retouched pictures will reach the corresponding students accurately. So far we have photographed more than 300 graduates.”
Graduate student Sun Huayu and her friend Zhang Ningxin have known each other for 7 years on campus. In 2015, they were roommates. In 2019, both of them acquired the postgraduate recommendations to the School of Chemical Engineering and Technology of TJU. “We have taken some graduation photos by ourselves, yet they are not satisfactory. What a surprising chance for us to get the specialized pictures arranged by our school!” Sun said, “These pictures are the symbols of our youth and friendship, as well as an invaluable graduation gift.”
Besides, many other activities have been organized during the warm graduation season such as the online graduation ceremony, flea market, and stories sharing by outstanding graduates.
