[Hello, Tianjin]Zhang Shengyue: keep loving and run towards the ideal

 Arts and Culture

In 1911, Liang Qichao, who led the Hundred Days' Reform, came to live in Tianjin. So here is the "ice-drinking room" that helps people get a glimpse into the statesman’s strong will of “Dreams are never sold, blood is never cold”. Take a stroll here and feel the city history in its streets, buildings and people.

The Ice-drinking Room

When I came to this city, I was touched by the hospitality of the people with their unique accents, by the historical heritage of this city, and by the leisure lifestyle among the hustle and bustle of urban life. This is the real life. And this is Tianjin, the city I love.

Hello, Tianjin.

Now, I have stepped into the long-awaited Tianjin University. Here, I am willing to work hard all my life. Life is a very long journey. What we learn at every stage will definitely be useful. Don't give ourselves too many excuses and just try what we want to do bravely.

At TJU, the sound of reading in the morning, the discussion of problems at noon, and the bright lights in the library at night, all comprise a strong academic atmosphere and romantic surroundings. The school motto "Seek Truth from Facts" is a requirement for scientific knowledge and attitudes to life as well, guiding us “to ordain conscience for heaven and earth, to secure life and fortune for the people”.

I believe that at Tianjin University, we can get more than knowledge.

This is my choice, my love, and I will keep loving, and run towards my ideal.
