[Hello, Tianjin] Liu Xuchen: the wonder land where I can thrive

 Arts and Culture

Before I entered Tianjin University, my impressions of Tianjin was mainly about local food and Quyi (Chinese folk art), such as the GuiShunZhai branch next to my home and interesting Quyi played on the radio. At that time, I had no idea about local culture. All I knew was that Tianjin is famous for its cuisine. When I was in high school, I fell in love with the cross talk art. The talk and laughter of Tianjin Crosstalk Broadcasting got me through the years of my youth. Listening to cross talks and storytelling has also become a pastime in my spare time. However, it was not until I received the acceptance letter from Tianjin University and came to Tianjin, that I finally realized the cultural heritage of Tianjin is much more than what I had known.

In Tianjin, there are Five Great Avenues and China House, historic and attractive; there are Tientsin Eye ferris wheel, Haichang Polar Ocean World, and other modern tourist attractions at your fingertips; there are also two well-known universities, Tianjin University and Nankai University. I finally realized that Tianjin is not only the city where I was going to study, but also the wonder land where I can thrive and become a literate teenager.

In recent years, the happiness index of people in Tianjin is showing a linear increase. In the future, I hope to use my abilities and those of my classmates and colleagues to promote the development of Tianjin and make Tianjin a paradise for learning and living.
