On Jan. 8th, 2018, ten Thai students and twelve South Korean students arrived at Tianjin University and started the four-week “Chinese Language and Home-Stay Program” under the Support of Confucius Institute Scholarship.

Aiming to better inform international students of China by offering them the opportunity to experience it, the program designs its training content from three aspects, Chinese language study, cultural exposure by means of lectures and visiting, and home-visit day when students are invited to spend a day in the homes of local Tianjin residents.
