Hello everyone! I am Anastasiia, a 19-year-old girl from the V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University in Ukraine. I am majoring in Chinese-English translation. Now I study at the Confucius Institute, School of International Education in TJU, and I have been studying Chinese for two years. I have set a goal to be a high-quality translator since I started to learn Chinese. To achieve this goal, I worked hard and applied for the Confucius Institute Scholarship. This year I came to the famous Tianjin University to study Chinese.Every student has their ownideas.
Before I came to China, I had my own plan, that is, learning Chinese while experiencing Chinese culture. Now I am just leading my life as planned. In order to pass the HSK-5, I take comprehensive, listening, reading and other compulsory courses in the morning, and take the HSK-5 elective courses in the afternoon. These courses helped me improve my Chinese and expand my vocabulary. In addition, here in Tianjin, I am immersed in Chinese so that my listening and speaking improve very fast. I have several Chinese friends, and they often accompany me to visit places of interest in China and taste Chinese snacks, which makes me very happy.Since I began to learn Chinese, it has never gone along smoothly, but I have never regretted it because learning Chinese does make me joyful.
Finally, I would like to say thank you to the Confucius Institute Headquarters and TJU for giving me this precious opportunity to come to China to do what I like, and thank you China for giving me an unforgettable and invaluable experience of studying abroad, making new friends , and learning new knowledge. In the future, I will strive to become a high-level Chinese-English translator and introduce the excellent Chinese culture to the world. China, I have so much to tell you and thank you for helping me to realize my dream. Best wishes to you!
