Han Jincheng Wins Tianjin Master Chef Award

Han Jincheng, Manager of the Students’ Canteen No. 4 of Tianjin University, was awarded Tianjin Master Chef in Tianjin’s Chef Festival by the Tianjin Cuisine Association.

As a manager of Students’ Canteen No. 4, Han is the only Master Chef of this year in Tianjin’s universities and colleges. Over the past 37 years, Han has never given up his pursuit of the culinary arts and his original aspiration of serving teachers and students. In 2004, Han became the first technician chef of TJU.

Cooking is an artistic aesthetic related to the senses of touch, smell, taste, vision, and hearing and cooking artists are required to master the abilities of creation and presentation.

From March 17 to 18, 2018, Chinese Culinary Artists’ Annual Meeting and Tianjin’s Chef Festival was held in Tianjin.

The Chinese Culinary Artists’ Annual Meeting, known as the catering industry’s Oscar, is held on the second day of the second lunar month. Dedicated to carrying forward the craftsmanship spirit of striving for quality and keeping ahead of food trends, more than 200 celebrities of the catering industry from all over the country gathered in Tianjin to discuss the development of the industry.
