On April 4th, 2018, the Health Science Platform held the Peiyang Forum for young scholars in Building No.24. Eleven young scholars from prestigious international colleges and institutions attended the forum and shared their own scientific research fields. Seven International Advisory Board members of the Health Science Platform, which includes the Nobel Laureate Ada Yonath, also attended this forum and made in-depth exchange of view on the lectures presented by the candidates. 

During the opening ceremony, Dean Jay Siegel introduced the current work and development plan of the Health Science Platform, and offered a warm welcome to all guests. The scholars on the stage shared their different research directions and scientific significance, as well as their future plans. After the lectures, members of the advisory board of the Health Science Platform requested more detailed information about the research project. The elaborate answers from the lecturers expressed the audience a deeper understanding of the profound scientific research. 

This forum not only provided a communication opportunity for these excellent scholars, but also gave the faculty and students of the Health Science Platform a wonderful approaching to academic self-improvement and injected more momentum to the future development of the Health Science Platform!
