Glad tidings came from the 20th CBDF (China Ball Room Dance Federation) “College Cup” Open Tournament  in Beijing from March 24th to 28th, for TJU representatives gained two championships, got the third place in four dance competitions and the sixth place in nine competitions. The dancers are four boys named Lin Zhongxin, Yuan Heng, Li Dingxin, and Ge Longbo and five girls named Liu Yuhan, Zhao Danning, Li Hang, Qu qi and Huang Qionghui.

The competition was held during the 9th Huairou International Standard Dance Festival which also includes the 9th “Huairou Cup” International Standard Dance Open Tournament, Dual Meet between universities from home and abroad and world championship performances. The festival attracted nearly 4,000 professional athletes and dancing amateurs from all over the world.  The TJU team danced together with students from Harvard University, Stanford University and Cambridge University and participated in the competitions of Modern dance and Latin.
