On April 24th, a delegation from the University of Malaya, headed by the director of the Center of Advanced Materials visited the School of Mechanical Engineering, Tianjin University.

Assistant dean Prof. Jiao Kui and Associate Prof. Gao Weiguo, both responsible for research affairs, together with several young teachers from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, met with the delegation.

Professor Jiao welcomed the delegation and expressed pointed out that the research collaboration on mechanical engineering with UM should be further promoted. Associate Prof. Andri Andriyana from the Center of Advanced Materials briefly introduced the University of Malaya, and highlighted that the two parties shall build a partnership based on mutual interests.

The two parties agreed on the collaboration of students and faculty exchanges, joint supervision and publication, and joint funding research programs.

The delegation visited the key mechanism theory and equipment design lab after the conversation.
