Learn Chinese at TJU-- Rashila Bhattarai from Nepal

 Global

Hello, everyone! I'm Rashila Bhattarai (Chinese name, Shi Le), a student from Nepal. Currently, I'm taking a preparatory course in Class 5. It has been over 8 months since I came to Tianjin University in September last year. I have been interested in Civil Engineering since my childhood, and infrastructure development in China provides excellent examples of sound engineering practices. I have been looking forward to the chance of coming to China to study Civil Engineering and Chinese. My dream came true at last. I have also taken great interest in Chinese. I remember that when I came here at first, I couldn’t speak any Chinese. Even the easiest tasks such as buying goods seemed tough to me. I thought Chinese words all sounded the same at that time. Chinese is so complicated that I had no idea how to master it. Learning Chinese is a big challenge for me. However, with the support and inspiration from my teachers and classmates, I gradually developed the interest in Chinese. Now, I can use Chinese to have some simple conversations. It's their help that facilitates my progress. I want to express my gratitude to them.

Now, my life in China is colorful. I have made a lot of good friends, including foreigners and Chinese. In addition, I have gotten used to life here. For example, I'm used to the Chinese lifestyle, climate, food, surroundings and so on. I like life in China very much. Life here is dynamic and interesting.

It's only two months now before I leave Tianjin now. I will go to the Huazhong University of Science and Technology. My time in Tianjin is very special and unforgettable to me. I love life in Tianjin!

Thank you!
