“End in summer, Flourish in Memory” Graduation Party

Being together since 2014, we shared much sweet memories of teenage, made the most of unlimited colorful youth. At 6:30 pm on June 19th, 2018, “End in summer, Flourish in Memory” Undergraduates Graduation Party in School of EIE kicked off in the student center in Weijin Road campus.

Party attendees include leaders and guests: Zhang Xiujuan, deputy secretary of college party committee; Chu Jinghui, deputy director of information department, head teacher of EIE Class 1, grade 2014; Zhao Na, Liu Sicheng, counsellor of grade 2014; along with counsellor Ma Guangxu.

Secretary Zhang Xiujuan made a speech at the beginning of the party. In this speech, she expressed her gratitude towards all audience and staffs, and extended her best wishes to the undergraduates, blessing them a promising future to come. At the end of the speech, she encouraged the graduates to stay true to the mission, firm their own ideal and faith, and shoulder the responsibility of a EIE graduate.

With all kinds of distinctive shows, The party is sectioned into three parts called “Dreams”, “Memories” and “Farewell”.

Fabulous as Dreams, Wonderful as Memories

The party kicked off with the rhythm of Sugar, a piece of saxophone melody played by Zhang Zhe from Class 3, Electronics and Information Engineering. The rhythm soon took the heart of the crowd. Then, a dance remix Falling Flowers& Only You performed by Hu Yujie from Electrical Engineering, Class 2 made the audience feel refreshed. The stage play Full of Romance in Room was humorously performed by Class 1, Electronics and Information Engineering, while a combined program from students of Class 3 and 4, Communication Engineering, took the party to its first climax with a joyous video interview and song-and-dance from girls.

Well Knowing Each Other, Let’s Sing along the Journey

The second part began with lively Trouble Girls. The stage play Class Meeting performed by Class 2, Electronics and Information Engineering brought a brand new form, continued with a series of songs Inexplicable I like you & Look up at the starry sky by Class 2, Electronics and Information Engineering, which spoke of the mood of every undergraduate. What’s more, Wang Sidi from Class 3, grade 2015, Communication Engineering extended his wishes to the graduates through a piano solo Cai Yun Zhui Yue.

Journey as Parting, It’s Hard to Farewell

The audience burst into laughter with the cross talk My college life. Another stage play Feel it Again performed by Class 3, Electronics and Information Engineering reviewed the classic pieces in 4-year college life, which made the crowd smile with moved tears. Dormitory 321 of Class 2, Electrical Engineering prepared us a series of songs Boundless Oceans, Vast Skies and My good friends to show their deep brotherhood, while the mixed song of Jay Chou, Youth sounds like a song performed by Class 1, Internet of Things Engineering showed their youth back again.

When it’s around the end of the party, it came the most exciting part of chorus. 5 voted songs were dream-insisting songs like Once You, Rudy, The Road to Mediocre Life, and impassioned songs like Farewell, Suddenly Missing You So Much. With everyone waving their hands, the four lead singers on stage sang out loudly the songs which accompanied them in their lush years. The party finally came to an end amid the cheers of the crowd.

Where there’s meet, there’s separation. Though graduating from college means separation from each other, it also indicates that we will reunite eventually. Either recalling the good old days or hoping for the future, we wish that all of the confident graduates from school of EIE will lead a unique and successful path of their own, and push themeself ahead, with the original mind to follow.
