2018 International Symposium on Plasmas for Catalyses and Energy Materials Held in TJU

 Campus

111 scientists and graduates from China, UK, Belgium, Netherland, Japan, South Korea, and Poland attended the symposium. More than ten leading scientists including Prof. Annemie Bogaerts, Prof. Shuangyin Wang, Prof. Xiaoxun Ma, Prof. Xin Tu, Prof. Toshiro Kaneko, Prof. Tomohiro Nozaki, Prof. Ho-Suk Choi, Prof. Jacek Tyczkowski, Prof. Young Sun Mok, Prof. Aimin Zhu, Prof. Xiang Wang and Prof. Xiulin Zhang presented in the symposium. The plasma applications in the catalyst preparation, catalytic reactions and energy materials have been extensively discussed during the symposium. There were several presentations on the study of mechanisms in the molecular level. Utilization of greenhouse gases, global warming, solar energy, exhaust gas treatment and hydrogen energy were the key topics of the symposium. Future development has also been discussed. The symposium will be very helpful for the future studies and sustainable development of plasmas for catalyses and energy materials. The next symposium will be held in the University of Liverpool, UK, in July 2020.
