Tianjin University won the Third Prize of the First China Innovation Methods Competition (Tianjin Division) and the Third Tianjin Enterprise Innovation Methods Application Competition, 2018 held recently in Tianjin.

The Tianjin University Press Team led by Wang Yunshi, Deputy Director of the TJU Press, entered their Independent Intellectual Property Project: convergence media publications with core of anti-counterfeit technology. The team won the third prize after the theoretical test and presentation competition.

Thirty-nine innovative research project technicians from Tianjin's technology-oriented enterprises were finalists. The projects varied from sector to sector, including transportation equipment manufacturing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, metal products, textiles, and food manufacturing. The entries included new products, new crafts, new materials and new applications.
