Feng Haiyang Won the Youth Innovation Prize

Feng Haiyang, a lecturer of the Department of Information Management and Management Science, College of Management and Economics (CoME), Tianjin University (TJU), won the Youth Innovation Prize of China Society of Information Economics in 2018. His main research areas cover economics of information system, platform business model and strategy, business data analysis.

Feng graduated from CoME in 2014 with a doctorate in management, and worked on postdoctoral research at Iowa State University from 2014 to 2015. From 2016 to now, Feng teaches in CoME. In recent years, he has published many academic papers in MIS Quarterly, International Journal of Production Economics, Computers & Industrial Engineering, Computers & Operations Research, Soft Computing and other international journals.

In 2015, the China Information Economics Theory Contribution Prize and Youth Innovation Prize were established by the China Society of Information Economics to commend the outstanding theoretical achievements in the field of information economy and information management in China annually or quinquennially, whose purpose is to foster and promote theoretical innovation and academic contributions in the field of information economy and information management in China, and to cultivate innovative groups for the development of the WU JIAPEI FOUNDATION in information economics in China. The winners of the two prizes are selected by a one-way anonymous evaluation and competitive ranking mechanism combining self-recommendation and recommendation. At present, the prize has become one of the most influential prizes in the field of information economy and information management in China.
