The Biomedical Domain National Case Database was launched on May 8. The Case Database for the Education of Postgraduate Engineering Students was launched in 2016 by the National Educational Steering Committee for the Postgraduate Engineering Students. The Case Database aimed to improve the quality of engineering education, form a teaching model in line with its teaching requirements, promote its educational reform and improve students’ ability using theory to solve problems.
The Case Database for the Education of Postgraduate Engineering Students takes after a project management model. After application and assessment, Tianjin University, Tsinghua University, and ten other leading institutions forming cooperative groups, were listed to be the first batch of institutions to develop the case database. Tianjin University is responsible for organizing and implementing the Biomedical Domain National Case Database.
